Notched Constant Tensile Load Tester with PLC control

Application:

AT415 Notched Constant Tensile Load Tester is used to evaluate the stress crack resistance of polyolefin geomembranes by notched constant tensile load (NCTL) test. It is mainly applicable to the geomembranes used on the landfill site. Dumbbell-shaped notched test specimens from a polyolefin sheet is subject to a constant tensile load in the presence of a surface-active agent and at an elevated temperature. The time to failure of the test specimen is recorded. The results of a series of such tests conducts at different stress levels are presented by plotting stress level against time for each stress level on a log-log axis.

Feature:

★ Touch screen display and PLC control;

★ Two test methods: Brittleness/Plasticity Judge and Brittleness/Plasticity timing

Brittleness/Plasticity Judge: judge whether each test specimen can fails in a specific time or not;

Brittleness/Plasticity timing: record the time for each test specimen to fail;

★ Input tensile stress and stress levels, the applied load in g can be automatically calculated and displayed;

★ Adding lead granules into organic glass tube to apply load and weights of 500g or 1000g are also supplied to take the place of lead granules if required load is more than 500g or 1000g;

★ Two metal bars to press all levels to prevent test specimens from loading before testing; Once test begins, two metal bars are released to supply the load onto test specimens;

★ The test frame with all levels moves down to the test position in the bath; If the test frame is not on the test position, test can't be carried out;

★ Anti-corrosion cover for the bath to prevent water vapor running away; In this way, the solution concentration will not change as time passes;

★ Solution-lacking warm and protection: If solution level does not reach the low water level, there will be a warm on touch screen and test can't be carried out;

★ With moveable foot, convenient to move the machine;
